Gongmei is of great collection value and can be stored as old white tea. Common brands include “Pinpinxiang” and “Jianxichun”.

Gongmei Tea Quality Identification

High-quality Gongmei is gray-green or emerald green in color, with abundant white hairs; the buds and leaves are attached to the branches, even, with few breaks, slightly curled edges, and obvious ripples on the leaf surface. It does not have a strong “green smell” but a pleasing fragrance.
