Linhai Panhao Tea Introduction

Linhai Panhao is a newly created famous tea, created in 1981. It is named for its curly and hairy appearance, and has the characteristics of “beautiful shape, green color, abundant hairs, rich fragrance and sweet taste”. This tea was rated as “National Famous Tea” in 1989 and won the gold medal at the Second China Agricultural Expo in 1995.

The leaves are harvested 4 to 5 days before and after the spring equinox, and the picking standard is fresh leaves with one bud and one leaf or one bud and two leaves just beginning to unfold. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are spread out, withered, cooled, sorted, shaped (fried and dried), and dried.
