Xueqing Tea Introduction

Xueqing Tea is a newly created famous tea. In the winter of 1974, Rizhao City was hit by heavy snowfall, and thick snow covered the tea forests. The following spring, the snow and ice melted, and the tea trees were lush and green. The new buds were picked and processed into tea, which has a unique taste and is named Xueqing Tea, which means the lush green color displayed in the white snow.

Xueqing Tea Production Process

From late April to early May, the fresh leaves with one bud and one leaf are harvested. When picking, purple buds, diseased and insect-infested leaves, rain-soaked leaves, and dew-soaked leaves should not be picked. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are processed through the processes of withering, rubbing, lifting, cooling, and drying.
