Taihu Cuizhu Tea Production Process

The tea picking process starts from Qingming Festival and ends at Shuangjiang Festival. There are three seasons: spring tea, summer tea and autumn tea. The tea is picked with a single bud or one bud and one leaf. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are spread, withered, shaped, dried and scented.

The dry tea with a thick and long body and most of it turning yellow is of inferior quality; the tea with a single bud, bright color and neat buds is of good quality; the tea with a grassy smell after brewing is of low quality.

In terms of appearance, the dry tea is flat like bamboo leaves, with a emerald green and glossy color. After brewing, the internal aroma is pure and long-lasting, the soup is bright yellow-green, the taste is fresh and sweet, and the leaves are tender green and even.
