Baisha Green Tea Production Process

Tea can be picked all year round. Spring tea picking starts in early February and continues until the end of November or early December. 30 to 40 batches can be picked a year. The picking standard is fresh buds and leaves with one bud and one leaf or one bud and two leaves, with a length of no more than 6 cm, and the tenderness of the same batch of tea must be uniform. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are spread, withered, rolled, and dried. In order to ensure the freshness of the tea, it must be picked and processed on the same day to improve the aroma and taste of the tea.
