				Jinshan Shiyu Tea Introduction
									Jinshan Shiyu was originally named Jinshan Mingwu. It was created during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and production resumed in 1978. It is a special grade of stir-fried green tea and is named for its shape which resembles a precious eyebrow and is as thin as raindrops.

									The fresh leaves with one bud and two leaves just beginning to unfold are picked around the time of Grain Rain, commonly known as “Yingzuijia”. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are withered, rolled, and fried to dry. The tea making process is similar to that of fried green tea.

									Jinshan Shiyu finished tea is divided into grades one to three. In 2010, Jinshan Shiyu tea was awarded the “China Agricultural Product Geographical Indication Product” by the Ministry of Agriculture. Only Jinshan Shiyu tea produced in towns and villages covered by the geographical indication certification area is authentic.

									In terms of appearance, the dry tea leaves are curled and have visible hairs, and are emerald green or dark green in color. After brewing, the internal aroma is long-lasting and floral, the soup is yellow-green, clear and bright, and the bottom of the leaves are golden.
