Zhenghe Gongfu Tea Production Process
Zhenghe Gongfu black tea uses the fresh leaves of Zhenghe Dabai tea tree as raw materials. It takes the excellent varieties of one bud and one leaf or one bud and two leaves, which have strong buds and many hairs and strong flavor. It is also matched with fresh leaves with floral characteristics from the small-leaf species group, forming a Gongfu black tea with excellent fragrance, which is deeply loved by consumers at home and abroad. The fresh leaves after picking are made through withering, rolling, fermentation, drying and other processes. The degree of withering should be slightly heavier, and the rolling should follow the principle of light → heavy → light pressure. Because the finished tea is mainly made of Zhenghe Dabai tea varieties, and at the same time, it is appropriately blended with Gongfu black tea with strong floral characteristics selected from the small-leaf species tea tree group, so in the refining process, these two semi-finished teas must be screened, graded, processed and formed separately, and then matched into Gongfu tea in proportion according to certain quality standards.
