Nanshan Baimao Tea Production Process
The tea is harvested 5 to 7 days before the Spring Equinox. Special-grade tea is harvested with one bud and one leaf just beginning to unfold, first-grade tea is harvested with one bud and one leaf half-unfolded, second-grade tea is harvested with one bud and two leaves just beginning to half-unfolded, and third-grade tea is harvested with one bud and two leaves fully unfolded. After picking, it is made through processes such as spreading, killing green leaves, rolling, rough fire initial drying, and full drying.
